When lockdown hit in the UK we quickly had to find new ways of creating content while we were all sat at home.
We produced a content series via Zoom called ‘Barclays: Team Talks’ where we took a group of famous faces from the football community (Ian Wright, Cesar Azpilicueta, Mary Earps & Gemma Davidson) and selected four girls from the grassroots game with a surprise of a lifetime.
We facilitated the videos by speaking to the selected girls ahead of the shoot, casually dropping in some loaded questions so we could get an idea who they’re fans of in the game. Once we had our shortlist of players on board we had to keep it a secret. We continued speaking to the girls and told them they’re going to be taking part in some extra PE lesson content with Barclays about how they’re keeping in fit at home during the lockdown.
However, their usual PE teacher was never going to appear on the call…
